I have been drawing and painting off and on for as long as I can remember.  Raising a family and developing a career in Social Work took me away from the easel for large chunks of time, but I have always returned.  I am passionate about painting, and especially about painting the landscape.  I paint primarily in oils now.  Until 2009, I focused on Experimental painting with acrylics and mixed media.  I am a signature member of the International Society of Experimental Artists.   I grew up in Indiana, lived most of my adult life in Michigan, and moved to Central Oregon in 2012.  I am in love with the Oregon landscape!  As an artist surrounded by such varied and incredible beauty, I feel like a kid in a candy store.  My goal in painting is to capture the awe, wonder, and connection with our Creator that I feel in beautiful, natural places.  With such a lofty goal, I have a lifetime of work ahead of me.
